Had a United CC last year. Just got offered another?!

I had a United CC last year. I put $3,000 on it, got my 50,000 miles, and then canceled it.
I used the mileage for a ticket.
I just got a mailing that says that because I used my mileage, I qualify to get a CC that will give me 50,000 mileage after spending $2,000.

It seems a little piggish to do this yearly, but they offered it.
Are they actually going to honor it, or will I go through all that and get nothing+

Embrace the opportunity and don't feel bad about spamming the deals. Everyone on SD, Flyertalk and FW have been doing it for years. Do a search on Southwest Chase Card on SD for a prime example - sign up for 4 cards at a time (1 personal and 1 business each for 2 people). Spend, get 200,000 miles, cancel and repeat.
Do keep in mind that some credit card companies limit the sign-on bonuses to once a lifetime (AmEx) or for a specific period (18 months for AAdvantage through Citi).

so whats the answer to this can he get the promo again after a yr..I get these too,,but never did it yearly i figured they wouldnt honor..or do they just send those mailers and not honor the offer to sign up they auto generated letters?
