Tires are on Sale (10% off) at Sears and they are offering a free $100 in points for spending $399 or more on tires.

You can get a pretty good deal if you are willing to place two orders. Once to earn the $100 back in points and one to buy the last tire to use the $100 in points.
Sears has most (if not all) tires on sale for 10% off
Shop your way rewards members get $100 in points for spending $399 or more on tires.
I looked through my shop your way rewards coupons in my account and found $35 off a $300 purchase (YMMV)
I looked through my shop your way rewards coupons in my account and found $15 off a $150 purchase (YMMV)
I also had $7 of surprise points (also YMMV)

I bought 4 Continental CrossContact LX20 tires installed for a total of $587.52. YMMV. That did not include TPMS rebuilding or valve stems but did include mounting and balancing. Regular price is $184 per tire + installation and tax.

http://www.sears.com/continental-...544266000P

The tires are normally $184.00 each
My first order was for 3 tires.

First order
$184 * 3 - (10% off) - $35 (SYWR coupon) + $14.50/tire installation and fees + 5.3% tax - $7 surprise points = $524.31

Wait until your SYWR points show up (mine was 1/2 hour or an hour)

Second order (last tire):
$184 - (10% off) - $15 (SYRW coupon) + $14.50/tire installation and fees + 5.3% tax - $104.96 SYWR points (from first transaction) = $63.21

Tire balancing

Despite advanced tire manufacturing processes and advanced rubber compounds used today, some weight imbalance can still be evident in new tires. Therefore they should be balanced with wheel weights to achieve smooth rolling of the tire. An imbalanced tire expresses itself as a wheel shimmy (rocking back and forth of the steering wheel while driving, usually at a specific speed).
Installation Cost with TPMS

VALVEKIT,TPMS96204 4 $31.96
INSTALL,TPMSSENSOREA 4 $12.00
TIREBALANCE,90DAY 4 $50.00
LOCALTIREDISPOSAL 4 $12.00

I realize this deal won't be for everyone; your car has to require tires that are expensive enough to be able to cross the $399 mark by buying only three tires.

Or, as usual with syw points, you could have something useful to use the 100 in points on

Looks like Sears prices are all over the map.... Ventus V12 Evo2 are $20/tire more than TireRack, but BFG are only $4/tire more than TR. Definitely like this deal... hopefully it's around in a couple days - my credit card went AWOL last weekend!

You also have to pay shipping on tire rack. The tires I bought were around $810 from tire rack just to get them bought and delivered.

This is a SLICK deal. Thanks for posting this. Rep to you.
Now I can spend all my points from the Samsung tablet purchase and save on the tires I need. Cheaper Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 than any where else: tirebuyer, tirerack, discounttire, etc.

How did you guys miss the DTD cyber monday event? If you had their card, there was a double rebate and it was money back, not points. They were even out of stock in the tires I wanted and they let me order anyway and told me it would be 9-10 days before they shipped. There was a $75 rebate on the tires I got AND a $60 rebate. I got four Hankook H727 in 195/65/15 for $328.64 with free shipping before 10% cash back at Upromise. $193.64 after rebate for four tires before the 10% cash back on $328. So $165 shipped for four tires. Walmart has the cheapest outright price still $77 and change each at Walmart.

note this also includes performance balance - ie free balancing for the lifetime of the tire.

Can the $400 include installation?

How quickly will points post on this? Dont you have to wait under you pick up your order for the points to post. While there are some potential good deals on certain tires, this might require two trips to the store and running the risk of buying 3 tires and then having them out of stock.

While there are some potential issues here, thumps up to OP for a potential good deal for some people.

Same here. Was also looking at the DWS 06, since I loved the last-gen DWS.

Tire Rack is around $660 just to get the tires to my door. Sears is $683 including installation, although I don't see a TPMS or stem fee here, but I would pay that for Tire Rack too.

And that's without points back. Unless I can get all four tires from Tire Rack, then mount and balance them for $23 bucks - this is a good deal.

Now how can we roll points into this? I have around $500.

Just bought 3 BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp 2 tires... got confirmation on checkout that the $100 in sywr points are on the way. Waiting for them to hit so I can order the 4th tire before they go out of stock... This is a little stressful lol

Edit: Points arrived about 30 minutes after I ordered. I ended up with 4 tires mounted and balanced, $510.63 out of pocket. That's pretty awesome!! Especially for 275/40R17 performance tires! I didn't have the 35 off 300, but did have 15 of 150 and 7 of 70 that I used.

Thanks a bunch OP, I've been needing tires for a looong time on the stang!

Edit 2: First time around, ordering the 3 tires, Chase blocked Sears.com from charging my card, so I had to pay with Paypal. Missed out on my 1% cashback there unfortunately, so heads up to others, might want to check your email if it blocks in order to allow it to charge!

Edit 3: Just checked pricing on these tires over at TireRack - $678.07 shipped + mounting and balancing.
