Annnnnnnd, it's back!

TP-Link is having a special Deal of the Day with "up to" 60% off TP-Link products...
TP-Link products 'Deal of the Day' Link [amazon.com]

For example, a SD fave:

The TP-LINK AC1900 Dual Band Wireless AC Gigabit Router (Archer C9) [amazon.com] is one of Amazon's "Deal of the Day" items for TP-Link products (Tuesday, 12/15/2015 only)...so get your stream on! The clock is ticking...tick, tick, tick..

Seller: Amazon.com
Current price: $99.99

Henry Ford says: "It comes in any color you wish, as long as it's White." Stick Out Tongue
Link, again [amazon.com]

Hint: you'll notice there is a Rebate Forms drop-down menu for prior purchases (SD'ers who bought earlier deals and qualify for those rebates). There are NO rebates on this item at this time.

CCC shows previous low was $112.99, on 9/14/2015

I can smell the brain cells micro-waving goodbye to me already...ahhhh, almost like Renuzit...

Yes. Costco item is now out of stock, per the website. This one is white...the Costco item was black.

Costco has a black version that is the higher power version for $10 more. It is temporarily out of stock online. The white version is the standard archer c9. You may want to read the reviews on the higher version before you buy;http://www.costco.com/TP-LINK-AC1...24292.html If I were a costco member I would purchase the highpower for $10 more. My $.02.
I have had two ac1750 routers die within a month. One of them was a tp-link ac1750. My backup tp-link 940 N covers my house better than the tp-link ac1750. I hope I got a lemon and am asking for a replacement at Jet. Costco's 90 day return would be great test for a router. Wireless router quality control must be the lowest of all electronics. Good luck.

No clue why people like TP-Link... I tried them a few times and they always fail after a few months. I no longer recommend them to clients. To each his own I suppose.

Here's a bit of an aside... why does a numerical 4.4* rating constitute a visual 4.5* rating on amazon?
Rounding perhaps? Maybe a 4.24 rating would round down to a 4 star visual.

Thanks OP!

Don't forget 10% CB for Chase Freedom cards, which I think still applies for deal of the day items.

Just cancelled my order from last night on the C7 and purchased this. Thankfully, I will have free same day and will be up and running with DD-WRT later tonight.

I may call my local Costco to see if they have the AC1900 in stock, and can always return this one if they do have it in stock.

Current one ASUS RT-N12/B1 signal range seems to have dropped some and doesn't reach all corners of the house. Seems like the archer C9 might be a good replacement

That's why they have TP in their name
