How I got Samsung Pay to work on this phone with T-Mobile:
When I first got the phone I let it auto-update. The Samsung Pay app updated, but I would get a "Samsung Pay doesn't work on this device" message. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app via Google Play, but I got the same error message. Next I went into Settings>Applications and did the following to the Samsung Pay app: clear data/cache, uninstalled updates, and disable app. Then I reenabled the app, which auto-installed the updates. Afterwards I was able to activate Samsung Pay and file a promo claim (received confirmation email).

True, but this is unlocked and unbranded and appears to be the USA version that Samsung USA sells directly on their website: SM-G920TZKAXAR.

Warranty, no carrier bloat or logos and Samsung Pay.

Good price, but slightly less slick than Cyber Monday due to the lack of additional accessories that were thrown in for free for the same price.

Samsung Pay only works for US models including Verizon models. International models cannot use Samsung Pay.

I wonder if B&H would price match? I'm thinking about jumping on this. I bought my wife the Nexus 5x, but she doesn't like it. Will this model work with Verizon?

This is the one issued by tmobile : SM-G920TZKATMB

All the GSM variants have slightly different hardware. Just like the galaxy's before you can't flash AT&T fw to a Tmobile base and v.v.

Sprint and Verizon are completely different animals as well as international variants.

What is unique about the Tmobile one is wifi calling which no1 else has.

That being said... if it is the G920T (T usually = tmobile variant) you may be able to flash the Tmobile fw (u will get Tmobile bloat but I'm sure after root u can remove these) then you can use Samsung Pay.

Keep in mind though... flash will trip KNOX counter and will void warranty. No way around the KNOX counter last I checked.
