1. Believe it or not. Not everyone has smartphones
2. If you drive a lot, using google maps or Waze uses a lot of data.
3. Larger display(for the older generation and those who like it)
4. Most dont have cell phone mounts in car.
You REALLY are not getting it.

These GPS devices are for people that don't meet the specific situations that you are arguing for, but for some reason you cannot understand that.

It may be 1% of people, it may be up to 99% of people that still find value in a stand alone GPS unit. You are arguing that YOU do not value a standalone GPS. And that is true. But for those who need it for the reasons that I have already stated clears, and you again pointed out why YOU and many others don't need it(understood).

I can't even go on, since you wont understand what im explaining to you about the breakdown and cost of smartphone vs stand alone GPS for someone who has no need for a smartphone.

Thanks for contributing little to nothing to this thread of an item that you clearly don't need anyway. Next time you can just move along unless you have some constructive criticism to add.

Good day
I think GPS uses satellite signal too as opposed to cell towers signal? At least that's what I thought it does. Because I was traveling through mountain range with no cell phone signals but hand held GPS was still working fine.

You spend $6.01 more now to get a $10 BuyDig gift card to spend later.

The no gift card item gives 2 options to buy SquareTrade Protection Plans.

You can mix or match, but there is a limit of two that the promo code will apply to. (2 x $6 savings) - of course you can buy more, but only max of $12 savings.

=========================

Firefox Private doesn't seem to like the site, can't Add To Cart, while Chrome Incognito does.

Weird....Froogle [google.com] has this as $84.99 for BuyDig, with "1 special offer", but I can't seem to get this show up, even clicking through Froogle's site. The case is $6.99 on BuyDig.

(I do see a review for "Garmin nuvi 55LM GPS Navigation System with Lifetime Maps 5" Display Case Bundle (E5GRNU55LM)", but that last item number does not show up in a search. But then again, this gift card bundle's item #EMGRNU55LM does not come up either.)

"Free 5 Inch Garmin Original Stow and Carry Soft Case
Expires in 13 days ? No code required
Discount is automatically applied at checkout

buydig is one of those businesses that operate in perpetuity but remain oblivious to growth.

could have been a huge etailer that everyone knows by now, but no one other than SD knows or buys from them that i know of.

1) True but the vast majority these day do.
2) True
3) Displays on smartphones and tablets these days are just as big if not bigger.
4) That cell phone mount for your GPS you pay for in the package price it's not free. You don't need a mount.... the cell phone talks to you through the car bluetooth to give directions.
5) Maps in GPS devices become inaccurate over time and you have to buy a new map program which costs you about $80 or more for Garmin.
6) Happy New Year! hug
