iPad 3 screen replacement in the DC area?

prupie 83 42 December 17, 2015 at 10:44 AM
A family friend gave us an unused iPad with a cracked screen. Has anyone done the research? Every option I've looked at was prohibitively expensive. Is it cheaper to buy a used iPad than replace a screen?

Yeah, most options are expensive because if you bring it to Apple I'm sure that they will charge you a lot as will Small Dog because they are using the real sturdy glass that is hard to break. If you bring it to say a shop in the mall or some online store, they typically use a cheaper glass that isn't as good which is why they can charge so little. But, you could find a cheap iPad online I'm sure that would only cost a $150-200 I'm sure if you want to spend that much money.
