Cost of professionally installing garage door opener?

jbloggs 9,661 4,515 December 17, 2015 at 03:08 PM More Amazon Deals
I recently purchase a garage door opener and was wondering what I should expect to pay for having it professionally installed? Any recommended company/service that I should use? The following is the system I purchased...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0160CH932

It includes connectivity to network/internet so I would presume this would add to the cost of installation.

Thanks for any info provided.

I've only had a spring replaced and that was spendy enough for me.

Why don't you call a few places local to you and find out what the going rate is?

I got the Liftmaster 8355 which is basically the same (albeit slightly better) as that installed for $380 total.

I would expect to install one opener would probably run you $150-$200 but install prices vary a lot depending on your area not to mention it also depends on where your LAN is so like someone else suggested call up a few places and see. If you're gonna tell someone they have to run a LAN cable all over your entire house to get to the MyQ then it's gonna be more expensive than if say the router is in the garage Big Grin
