Dell and Slickdeals - by far the worst rebate I've ever had to deal with

This is in reference to the Dell 2-in-1 13" 7000 last month.

I'm no noob to rebates, I verify everything and keep documents, I have yet to not receive a rebate that was properly done.

Then comes slickdeals and Dell.

First off, the rebate form claims it does not require upc/barcode yet they do.
Second off, your INVOICE sent to your email from dell is not actually a INVOICE because it doesn't say INVOICE despite having all the proper information including order #, customer #, and even tracking #, slickdeals will deny this as a proper invoice.

Here I am, having to request a damn invoice from Dell because they don't offer one no matter how much information you have on the order you placed, including all emails.

If this does not satisfy slickdeals, I think my firstborn might be next.

I've spent two evenings now trying to find the Slickdeals rebate form. This is crazy.

I sent my rebate without the upc along with the invoice printed from my dell account and my rebate has been approved. Why not just resubmit with the account invoice? you should have no problem.

Nope, reply I got explicitly says I need a Dell invoice and gave instructions on how to "request" One from dell

Exactly that's the invoice they need. So resubmit with that invoice. I just did it took me 2 minutes.

I have to wait for Dell to give me it. The order details on dell's site is not the invoice according to slick deals agents.

Log onto your dell account search order status last 90 days click on the order number. On the right side click on request an invoice and it comes up instantly.

Not for me. Requires me to fill out order details and customer # despite being logged in and having the order open. Then gives the whole "we will respond soon" lines.

That's weird you will just have to be patient and see what dell does. keep checking your account or call customer care.

Edit: You're right it just did that when just a couple minutes ago it worked for me. Says Dell having technical difficulties.

this is the second worst experience with a rebate I've ever had. The "invoice" they want you to send in you have to obtain seperately from Dell. That's right, its not in the emails you receive. you have to go to the Dell website to get it. No where in the rebate form does it mention this. I had to argue with slickdeals customer service before I was allowed to send it in a email. Unbelievable that slickdeals was not more thorough in its rebate offer.

I believe the rebate called for an invoice. The emails you received does not address them nor are they invoices. So your rebate was denied. All you had to do is print out the invoice at dell.com. This rebate was easy for me no problems. I received the rebate a few days ago.

That's great that YOU know how to obtain an invoice from Dell,but for the rest of us it wasn't that easy. If it was stated on the rebate form how to get the invoice it would have been simple.

How else would you obtain an invoice on an order made on a website? Simply all you had to do was sign in to your dell account click on request an invoice and print it. I do think that an invoice should have been included with the parcel but it wasn't a problem for me.
