Guys, I have a $400 United travel voucher that expires in Nov 2016. I normally do not fly United as their flights are normally way too expensive from my local airport. From what I read on the voucher, there are no restrictions on it for use other than the $400 needs spent on 1 airline ticket and be used by the Nov 2016 timeframe. Anyone know if I can try any alternative uses for this by chance? Open to any ideas!! Thanks.

Couldn't you just sell it on Craigslist?

Well I tried posting it there but it doesn't appear that anyone is searching for travel vouchers. That certainly would be easiest way to go about it though. Thanks for your thoughts!!

Just took a look and doesn't look like they want you selling or trading anything over $100. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I don't know if you could use it on any partner/alliance travel. Maybe someone else knows for sure. What about eBay?

As for Craigslist, post it on a forum in a United hub. Hubs and alliance members are listed here:

I wonder if it could be transferred for an international flight? as credit towards the purchase price of the whole round trip internationally

I heard you can swap the miles for cash through the airline. Also, maybe post it on ebay instead?
