Unfortunately to call this edition 'unlimited' is a bit of a misrepresentation since the product will expire after 1 year. https://kb.acronis.com/content/48296

I used Acronis products for over 10 years. This product is worthless. I tried to back up a Windows 10 installation. It seemed to freeze up or it takes 24 hours to run. The cost now is very high with their clamp down on multiple installations. I am finished with Acronis. I now use EaseUS products Todo Backup and Partition Manager. The products are free for home, personal use and they work.

Buying this for Mac is an oxymoron. The best Mac imaging app by far is SuperDuper and that has no time limits. It has saved my bacon numerous times. Of course, Mac has the best daily backup software built in.

Plain version is unlimited, the unlimited version however is limited. Now that is sleazy. I wouldn't buy this crap for that reason alone.

same here, but as to the subscription piece it's no different than say a Carbonite or Backblaze.

Too bad Acronis joined the dark side of subscription service rather than selling their product outright... like they used to do.

I too have used Acronis for >10 years, and currently still use V11 on W7 machines.... with no annual subscription fees.

I read where EaseUS won't "clone to a smaller drive"... has that been your experience?
