4TB Hard drive prices ranges?

xNotta 123 14 December 19, 2015 at 09:26 AM
I want to get a 4TB hard drive to put in a USB External Hard Drive and use as a backup drive for pictures and video.

I would like a HGST brand due to very low failure rate. Western Digital's (WD) considered.
No Seagates due to known high failure rate.

I've not been following the price per TB recently so I'm out of the loop when it comes to good prices vs over priced.

What's a good price for a 4TB hard drive? and any known deals for HGST 4TB drives?

This is the one that actually got me wanting to ask what a good price is.

Is this one a good deal? or am I better of going larger/small capacity for $/TB? What's the current $/TB threshold?
