Great price for a NAS storage 4TB 3.5 inch drive. 7200RPM too.

Save $20 by using code: ESCKNKX37

Please advise that NAS drives differ in that they use LESS power consumption and produce less noise than the traditional consumer grade drives. So please keep this in mind.

Will be using this hard drive for a headless NAS box that will be used as a seedbox/Plex Server/IP Security Camera DVR Box.

$140 is the best price ever for this highly rated drive, right? Not sure why this hasn't gotten more attention. Maybe $20 off isn't that slick of a deal?

I am in the market to upgrade my four 2tb drives in my nas.

I bought them 4 years ago for $70 a piece.

I think most people aren't thrilled about paying the same price per gb that they paid four years ago.

I'm thinking most people don't care for a NAS hard drive. They want the consumer grade cheaper priced hard drives. meh!

Bought 3 of these the past 2 years. HGST HDN724040ALE640

The price hasn't really changed at all for these deals which is quite sad.
NAS drives are worth the price premium if you want reliability. HGST is the better of the 3 brands: http://www.anandtech.com/show/874...b-review/4

This hard drive could be had from jet.com for 136.56 (20% first time coupon). And even sweeter if you have a $20 off AMEX offer. Using these 2 savings I got mine for around $115. The problem is you generally need more than 1...

I tried making another Jet account and it doesn't work. It's based on shipping address rather than email address... Couldn't use the first time user coupon anymore...

If the shipping address is a house, add an apt #.
