Our Favorite Season, Our Favorite Brands Offer*
Offer Valid 12/21/15- 12/26/15. Limit one $15 point offer per member per week. Purchase requirement before taxes and after other discounts much be at least $15.

Current brands for week (12/21/15 12am CST- 12/26/15 11:59pm CST)- Topshop (Nordstrom), Golfsmith, Nike (Macy's), Polo Ralph Lauren (Nordstrom & Macy's), MAC Cosmetics (Nordstrom)

My take is that you have to purchase those brands at either Macys or Nordstroms to get $15 back. That is what the phone rep said also. Any thoughts..?
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

SYWR comes up with these funky promos, but their system is absolutely horrible at rewarding points for completing them. Sometimes, they'll award points after you call but be prepared to argue and waste a lot of time..

I haven't received any of the points I should have earned from their promotions either. They won't get me again.

They have been running this points back promotion for the last 4 months and I maybe got 1 time credit. Their system is terrible. You would expect a history of click thru or points pending confirmation from such a big company.

Even though sywr payback seems huge, the rate of payment is miniscule so when comparing to the cumulative 3-5% I get from the other websites, the other websites win in the long run because they have been consistent.

Plus, not as many opportunity as in the past to roll points. Not a big fan of SYWR. I don't know how or why people become VIP in this program. You have to purchase alot and most of their stuff are overpriced or are inferior in quality.

Enough of my rant. Really tried to use their system but it has been difficult to find good ways to earn or redeem SYWR points.

I just send a simple email with my receipt to info@shopyourwayrewards.com and they credit my account without further questions. I believe it's worth it

We all have to remember to check on the Black Friday deals. There was a $25 off of Best Buy purchase, Burger King, and a few others..

This promotion has been great as far as points back percentage but horrid as far as actually getting the points. I have never had such problems as with this partner promotion.
I just keep screen shots of everything sorted by date and then send them in 45 days after the purchase date to get the manual credit.
So for this to be a certain brand through a certain retailer, I would keep screenshots of EVERYTHING!

Amen to that. I know folks have said it time and time and time again... but I must reiterate: I really don't know how they (Sears Holdings, LLC) actually turn a an actual profit AND stay in an actual *for profit* operating mode.

It boggles my mind. It seems (by judging their vast ineptitude) as if they are owned by the US Federal Government and similar to the Feds, they are playing with someone else's money, and don't care one way or the other, if they actually make a profit of any kind - because they somehow know they'll always be around.

Their owner/CEO/majority shareholder is a bonafide doofus. He's just a slick multimillionare hedge fund manager trying to somehow competently operate a once proud retail chain. He's running it into the ground, but damn, how far does the ground go?

These point giveaways by buying stuff from other competitors is just ludicrous for the not only them (what retailer would point a potential customer AWAY from their store, either online or B&M?!) but for us gullible customers. Like someone stated, these never work/give points as it should, and if you want your points, you must do something extra or argue with these idiots.

Sears is based in Chicago or the suburbs of Chicago, the capitol of corruption in the US. I guess this stuff is just business as usual for them, eh? There really should be someone from the US government checking their business practices/BS giveaways like this that hardly ever pan out for the consumer.

I actually feel sorry for the customer service folks at Sears. They are thrown into a system that is designed to work against the customer and they probably hate their jobs and bosses but have nowhere else to work in India.

Sorry to rant... but I swear, possibly a class action lawsuit against Sears' crappy shenanigans (such as the OP's) would probably be their death knell but I've just about had it with these scumbags - they need to answer and own up to this type of crap they continue to deal in. My grandfather (who owned a crapload of Craftsman tools, etc) is rolling over in his grave right now. EEK!

It will be fun while it lasts, but many predict doom within the coming year. Really sad way to go for a brand with such a proud heritage. This is just as said as the fall of Radio Shack for me.
