Has anyone received McAfee rebate Offers: 15-26664 and/or 15-26663 ???

It has been like 15 weeks since I mailed the rebates and 13 weeks since the Rebate company 'received' my rebates and show as being valid and scheduled for final processing for a very long time. I have called Mcafeerebtaes and chatted a total of 3 times and the response I get is that 'due to the overwhelming response, they have had a delay.....'

The issue is that the rebate form indicates to allow 8-10 weeks for delivery of rebate. I purchased them from Newegg and the total of both rebates are $90.

Should I be worried that they will not pay? Has anyone had the same problem?

I've had the same issue with these two rebates and have been given the same "overwhelming response causing a delay" line.

At least we're not one offs.

I haven't received 15-26665 or 15-26666. I've called in the past about them and they are approved but guy at rebate center said it'll be paid but they are overwhelmed so just be patient.

I'm in no big hurry as long as I know it'll be paid, but still you get to worrying a little when it's been so long. I mean they received my paperwork 4 months ago.

Just received my prepaid card yesterday for Dept 15-26664 ($50). Did not do the other.

Ok, this is ridiculous. It's going on 5 months. I'm calling them again tomorrow and see what they say. This is crazy. They owe me for 2.

Did you happen to get anywhere with them over the phone? I know their Live Chat support isn't worth a damn. I've been waiting on 15-26665 for nearly 5 months as well (submission was received on 8/21). Their response to my inquiries today regarding its status is no different than their response back in November: "We're overwhelmed by the response to this promotion, please be patient". They have provided literally zero new information over the past 2 months. Filing claims with the BBB and Texas state attorney general's office hasn't seemed to do any good either. Beyond that, what else can be reasonably done to speed things up? I contacted Newegg about this 3 weeks ago and they were nice enough to offer me a $20 gift card as a courtesy, but I doubt they can do anything to whip Parago's ass into shape.

They say there was an overwhelming response to rebate....blah blah blah....their canned answer. I gave them 3 tracking numbers to check on from August. They said to allow 2-3 more weeks for them to go out. I responded by saying so from start to finish these rebates would have taken half a year. Wow.

I just checked again and same old bullshit explanation....... I wonder if they will really pay up or are they filing for chapter 11?

So I got an e-mail this evening, one day before the deadline for Blackhawk Engagement Solutions (Parago) to respond to my BBB complaint (this was for rebate 15-26665, BTW):

Hey. Did you submit for both rebates or just one? They're sending you $45 for only one of the submissions? One submission was for $40 and the other was for $50.

I've gotten nowhere with emails and similarly am getting nowhere with chat. I'm considering filing a complaint with the BBB as well.

I did just the 15-26665 rebate which was for $45.

And yeah, chat is a complete waste of time. It's been five months since they received my submission and they spew the same garbage time after time. If you decide to file a BBB complaint (and at this point, I would highly recommend it), this is who you'll want to go after [bbb.org].

Ah. I missed where you noted you did 15-26665 in an earlier post. I'm getting the same garbage time after time as well. Thanks much for the BBB link!
