I've used the HH Greg warranty on both of my plasma TVs I bought from them and can't complain about the warranty. The first TV was 50" Samsung that had some pixels that were firing the wrong color. It took a while on the phone to get them to send a service man out but, it wasn't a big hassle. They adjusted some things on the TV and that worked for a while. I ended up having to call them out a couple more times and finally the decided to give me store credit back for the full purchase price of the TV. Oddly enough they never came and got the TV. The mis-firing pixels really aren't noticeable from a distance so it's now my bedroom TV.

I used that credit to upgrade to a 60" LG that had some pixels firing red and could be seen pretty easily on a white background. Again, all it took was a phone call to get a service man out to look at it. This time they replaced the panel and it's been working great since then. I actually just got a sales call last weekend stating my warranty would be running out soon and I should renew it.

I'm not sure how different the warranty process is for a fridge vs a TV but, I was pleased with the process. They never gave me a hard time or tried to deny my claims. I'm also sure it's heavily dependent on the quality of the service company they send out. In my case the first and second time they sent a service tech the company was actually from a couple states away! The remaining service calls were from a local company. Both were great and took care of me the best they could.

One notable thing is that you aren't actually dealing with HH Greg for warranty claims. It's a third party service so, you can't walk into a HH Greg store and file a warranty claim with someone in person. The sales woman at my local store did offer to make the phone call with me there at the store though.

It also sometimes took a while for the service company to get to me. Usually they were there before the end of the following week but, I could imagine that being without a fridge for more than a few hours is a lot worse than just a TV. This may be an area where the warranties differ but, I would certainly find out before signing up for the warranty.

Make sure they show in the literature where it states everything they are claiming. Salesmen have been known to make claims about what a warranty does and doesn't cover without it actually being true.

Go squaretrade with a 15-25% off coupon code which are very common and passed around on SD all the time or go no warranty at all.
You have at least a 1 year already and if you used a good credit card that 1 year turns into 2 years for free.
