PSN portion of speed/internet test on the PS3 failing due to 'wrong email/password'...

Plus I'm getting timed out from the download list on my PS3 when I try to check out the items I've bought. That made me have to go to the version of the PS Store to select the items I wanted to download to my system.

I tried rebooting my modem(which took 3 tries before the send/receive icons would stop flashing blue) and the system and even changing the password to something different.

FYI: I had the same issue with PSN not wanting to let me log in on my PSP Go due to 'wrong email/wrong password' a few months ago.

Very very weird.

I know I changed my password when I sold a super slim PS3 a while back without deleting my log-in on it. Yet the guy I sold it to at the local flea market still had it when I went there about a month ago and I had the PSP issues before that.

Any ideas?

No kidding. That's good capitalism. I have done that with a few products from time to time. The people buying it from you can buy it from the same place you did, but didn't.
