Costco sells the ring video doorbell plus the Chime for 179.99 in B&M/Online. Price includes shipping. Only sold in the satin nickel finish.

It's a good deal as Amazon charges 199.99 plus 30 bucks for Chime.

Receives decent reviews and you can't go wrong with Costco return policy.

Thanks for posting, did you actually see these in a B&M yet?

I'll absolutely agree with the folks that say this thing is way overpriced, but at the same time don't know a less expensive clean and simple solution. I can't just tape my $40 LG Volt or Moto E to the wall and download an app to turn it into a door bell can I?

I've seen this at the Yorba Linda, CA Costco for at least a month now. It's the only Costco in the area that I've seen it at though.

I have one, it's alright but the motion detection is pretty bad. You can walk up, open my door and be inside before the video starts recording. You can also walk up, steal a package and run away without getting caught on camera (actually happened to me while I've had the ring)

didn't see it in seattle area costco's yesterday...

btw, the ring doorbell doesn't yet have functionality for video on demand, meaning you can't use it as a camera. there actually has to be activity or someone has to physically ring your doorbell for you to get an alert, which you have to accept in order to view video live. they are in process of getting this feature incorporated very soon is what customer service says, but to me is a huge missing function. the skybell doorbell already has this function and is cheaper. but didn't get as good reviews from when i did research.

i own the ring doorbell, bought it full retail $200 and installed it. it is pretty easy to install on wood, on brick it's a pain if you don't have the appropriate power tools, which i did not. i have a drill, but needed something better with more torque. otherwise, it comes with everything else you need to install. the drill bit it comes with sucks, which i will guess is also part of the reason it was difficult to install.
