Staples is offering a sale price on the i3847-10000BK, the page for this computer lists the machine as having an i3 4460 but the processor is actually an i5 4460 making this a great deal. Machine is 399.99 in store, apply the extra 100 dollar coupon from the Staples coupon page to make it 299.99 before tax.

IMHO, I believe you are wrong about the processor being a i5. Everything in the description including the specifications state an i3 processor except under the heading "Powerful Processing System" where is mentions an i5 processor. Even the model ( I3847-10000BK) indicates an i3 inside the computer. If I were a betting person I would bet on the i3 processor in this Dell computer. With that said, I will think $299.99 before tax is still a pretty good deal considering that the next cheapest I3847-10000BK is $529.92 in my search on Google shopping.

I know this is an i5 because i purchased it and am using it now. I checked the box before I paid for it. The website is wrong, if you look at other sites for the same model number the specs are correct.

the processor is a 4th generation i5 Haswell processor. I bought the same computer last year from Staples for 250 with a 50% off clearance computer coupon.

just fyi there's no room inside the tower for a large video card without removing the disc bay

I bought 2 of these last week, 1 for my daughter and 1 for myself. Yes, they are the 4th gen Core i5.

The first one was an online coupon and the second one was an in-store coupon like this one. The first one was in stock (they only had the 1 in stock) and I ordered it online for pick-up in store. The second one (with the in-store code) I ordered from their kiosk to be delivered to my house and selected to pay at register. I showed them the coupon code at the register and they applied it there.

This is a SCREAMING deal! upgrade the power supply and graphics card (I'll be going with the EVGA GTX 960 since it's a great card at around $200 or below), and this will be a great gaming rig that will play almost everything you throw at it for awhile!

Attachments showing it is indeed an i5 (that's what the i3847-10000bk model is!) and my receipt from last week. Remember, the coupon code on this receipt is from last week and is not valid. Use the new code.

Good luck!

You're not talking about the $250 deal from February are you?

I've been unable to replicate w/those specs.

It's probably not in stock at your local store. Order it from their kiosk and pay at register. show them the coupon/code at the register.

Be warned though that some employees will tell you that it doesn't apply to that computer. They are wrong though lol. Thousands have done it in the past couple of weeks.

In-store code 98092
