149.99 normally 229.99 free store pickup at best buy

Turtle Beach - Ear Force Stealth 500X Wireless DTS 7.1 Surround Sound Headset for Xbox One - Black

I missed out on a similar deal last time. I think this is even better than the black friday specials or at least equal too...

Would be great if there was something that worked on PC, too, but might have to get this.

really good deal. I would definitely pick this up but the wife would KILL me if I spent any more money on anything Xbox related this year. LMAOLMAOReaper

I purchased these when they first came out for 200 and returned immediately. The sound quality was muffled and awful compared even to my old turtle beach x41s.

matching their BF week deal. seems nice. if you can't afford A40 or A50, it'd jump on this. wireless, wireless chat, simulated dts 7.1, and probably can't be used for all other platforms (with the right standard wires).

Heads up, the adjusting plastic snaps very easy(very sensitive). Be careful when placing on your head.
You don't have to have a big head for it to snap, it just cheap plastic.

DTSX on turtle beach headset compared to Dolby on turtle beach headset is crap ! I have TB Tango and Elite 800X and boy does DTS not pinpoint where exactly the sound is coming from!

why not get good headphones and a vmoda boompro or some other mic. it's crazy that these cost so much for "surround sound" lol. its either stereo with simulated surround or has a bunch of teenie tiny speakers in them that all sound like crap.

I would be interested in learning more. and options that would not require connecting to the Xbox controller for anything because they are not dependable for chat. I actually considered kind of what you said but couldn't find any research of what anyone had already done for a setup like what your describing. again without using any converters or anything from the controller as they are not dependable.

I have the new controllers so I just plug in to the 3.5 port on the controller.

In for 1. I have the astros a50s, gen 1 and the chat has been not so great and there is no voice feedback which bugs me.

When i bought them it also offered free expedited shipping.
