lg power smartphone setup for 12 year old suggestions?

Setting up her phone for her for Christmas morning...
Which browser do I enable? The factory one or chrome?
I need some help with setting it up please!

Are you looking for parenting control or something like that? What is your concern? We need more details.

I personally would stick with Chrome as it's likely the most secure and it get's updates from the play store. It can also enable data compression to save on your data bill. I would recommend setting the data warning/limit in Android as well below your wireless plans amount so she knows how much she is using when streaming video, music etc.

yes, I didn't elaborate much and I'm I should enable chrome as the default browser? I haven't signed into her google account yet and was wondering if that would help restrict content when she signs in?

I think you are going to be fighting a losing battle if you are concerned with restricting content. If so be prepared for you to ask her to hand you her phone every day so you can see her messages and access multiple accounts in Instagram, SnapChat etc.. It is the social media options that wear you down. Sure you trust your child to do make the right choices but once you hand them that device it is as if you dropped her off alone in Times Square sometime in the 1970's.
