Thread Details

I was going through a stack Staples rewards and thinking I need to spend them ASAP. I found this..

Seagate 2TB SATA 6.0 Desktop 3.5-Inch Internal Hard Drive (STBD2000101) Item: 715789 Model: STBD2000101 is regularly priced at $85. If your store has them in stock you can order on line for store pick up and take another $20 off using 2 coupons (It is in my cart and coupons are applying) .. I guess the ymmv part is that I am not sure if you must be a rewards member to use them. 2TB is kind of small for me, but I am thinking for $65, I might just put one on the shelf for the next build or a replacement. Not a great price if you think that Microcenter has them for $70 and has had the 3 tb for $85, but it is a retail pack, with full warranty. and you can use up the rewards and be done with Staples before the Evil Empire gains control of your store.. And heck, not every one has a Microcenter, so I hope it helps some one.. I still do not know if I want to pull the trigger. Something is telling me to save my rewards until I know what next weeks add is. I need to cash out the rewards more than I need the drive..

Coupon # 1 is Save $5 off your $25 order when you buy online pick up today. Coupon Code: 96181.

Coupon # 2 is Get $15 off your online order of $75 or more. Coupon Code: 84895

These 2 codes should work on any regularly priced $75 item EXCEPT the usual Apple, Bose, Amazon clause Staples has as long as your store has them in stock
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Pulled the triggrr..

Mine is available for pick up. $64.99 plus tax after coupons before rewards..

You must order on line for in store pick up and pay on line.

My coupons were invalidated after adding rewards, but after a chat, I was able to use coupons and $25 of rewards. It seems my rewards brought it below the $75 for the coupon to work. I went to a chat session.

Remember it MUST be available in store for the $5 off $25 to stick and the $15 off $75 (ON LINE). It ($15 0ff $75) just popped up when I went to staples home page for me today. YMMV! When I went to a banner floated offering $15 off $75 online orders right on the top of the page!.

I also bought a Staples $50 GC on Ebay from the rolling today (ebay bucks), so I saved a bit more too.. ymmv.. It came out to $40 and tax after coupons, after rewards, and after chat for me.. Like I said I am not sure who is qualified for the discounts, but it worked for me. They also gave me a extra $5 off because of the chat hassle but I have not seen it show up just yet.... So it might end up $35 before tax..It might be another darn coupon..

If you do not get the $15 off $75 offer, chat with them.. It is worth a shot..

yeeee ha!

I got my final bill after tax.. $37.50..

It worked for me.. $85 - $20 ($5 off $25 online coupon and $15 off $75 reg price coupon for reg price online item) = $65

After chat I got my $25 rewards to stack. I also got a $5 inconvenience chat allowance coupon. So it was $35 + $2.50 sales tax = $37.50 after coupons and my rewards ($25 rewards + $5 Inconvenience coupon + $5 off $25 in store pick up and the $15 off $75 reg price coupons) and TAX.

First time I was made happy on chat ever..

Edit.. I tried to buy another reg priced HD and the $15 off $75 is not working for me in a incognito window, so I was lucky on the first and it is a YMMV for sure..
