So what's the deal then ? aren't these underground apps supposed to be free to begin thus the permission requirements or am i missing something ?

And , if we must install this intrusive app to get a game or two - can we deny the app permissions somehow ?

I think in marshmallow you're allowed ? But before MM I'm not sure exactly if you are able .

Thx .

Ok a rooted android phone you need to install Xposed Installer (think if it as a small app market where apps are called modules) http://repo.xposed.info/module/de....installer

and from there you install XPrivacy Module:
http://repo.xposed.info/module/bi...t.xprivacy

Very high risk since Google doesn't like this. They want to push their own version in Marshmallow which gives you privacy from apps but not google itself. Similar to how you could turn off GPS and Wi-Fi before and now you can turn off "locations" so google :-) still use your GPS chip when it feels like it, and the same with Wi-Fi that can be turned on and off even when you leave it off to "help Google bring you customized ads" whatever. I trust amazon underground over google any day.

These games are free on the original Amazon Appstore, not the new Underground Appstore. There's no forced "spyware" on these titles.
