Recycle your iPhone or selected smartphones -

The value of GC is dependent on the condition of the phone. The most interesting seems to be for a good condition iphone 4 (8GB) fetching $100 apple GC (ebay prices are lower).

Note: Make sure to take a screenshot of trade-in value at the final step as proof. Also, take pics of your phone before sending it out.

Trade-in value may be carrier dependent -

Looks like Verizon iPhone 4 doesn't get $100. It says "RECYCLE FOR FREE". LOL. No thanks.
Can I do this in-store?

I asked at the Apple Store and u can do the trade-in there, but it has to be towards a purchase. So u can't just trade for a a gift card.
The site is quirky - 1 min it showed $100 trade-in value but finally $0. What do I do?

Happened to me as well. Called them and they saw the $0 as well at their end. I cancelled the quote and retried it. And this time it showed $200 in my email as well (for iPhone5). The only difference was this time I picked the option to print my own label (last time I opted for their packaging to be sent to me).
Is anyone even reaching the end?

I had problems using Chrome. I switched to Edge and although it was slow my Sprint iPhone 5C 8gb fetched $200. I printed out a UPS label to mail it back to them.

My email showed $200 and I chose to have the packaging sent. The process was actually pretty quick compared to what everyone else is experiencing. I got booted back to the beginning one time and had a little lag on pages. No big deal.

I'm interested in learning more, but that recycle site is nearly impossible to use. Every page take 2-3 minutes to load (and you need 8+ pages to get through everything), and randomly kicks you back to the start Mad Mad Mad

Edit: It's a little faster now, but still crazy slow

I'm also curious about whether it will work, and am also having problems loading their website.

Yeah, it's quite slow. I haven't personally tried trading-in, so I don't have any experience to share. Hope others will chime in. I don't think they will renege on the offer if you take your phone's pics and trade-in value screenshots.

they do ask for non-Apple smartphone; not sure what the policy is for Apple's own.

Couldn't you buy a bunch of 4's for $50 and get the $100 for recycling?
