Same price on their E-bay store [ebay.com] for those with discounted E-bay GCs or E-bay bucks to burn.

Thanks for sharing. Needed to replace dying 880's. Bought two of them. Being discontinued by manufacturer, but don't care at this price. Logitech says it is compatible with smart hub (IR to RF/Bluetooth) and good deals can be found for them as well.

If you are not paying much more, I would go for this one. You get a lithium rechargeable battery with charging base, touch screen and up to 15 devices.

not really... I consider the 650 a workhorse. battery lasts forever, nice screen, etc

Apples and oranges. The 650 won't connect to many of the devices the more expensive remotes can with the hub.

I brought one of those smart home control from previous deal @ 70, I like it so much that I placed another order at amazon for the same price for my bedroom. My issue is that I'm controlling 2 TV in separate rooms (living room and kitchen) using a Wireless IR [amazon.com]. So Im here configuring this thing to stop conflicting with one and other. It's working alright but I wonder if it would be best to just get a Harmony touch for the living room and kitchen and use the home control in the bedroom. Also I believe that would expend my hub to 15 devices where I could add all my roku's, firetv stick to be controlled through the app.
Now reading reviews on touch it scares me a little, does anyone have good experience with it?

So mad I missed out on the smart control. Is this one worth the extra $20?

can't stand the buttons on the top. It should have the screen on top and all the transport buttons on the bottom.

No it's not. The SmartHub was the whole deal. The remote is quite average. I bought one from Costco for the same price and sold it afterwards. Not worth it.Besides... if you click the link, it's $299.99. Typical BB. Their eBay is alive at the moment though, I am sure they will kill it as soon as they see increased traffic.

I think charging base is a huge plus, put it next to your couch and you'll never run out of battery (until batteries wear). Are batteries sealed or can they be replaced?

You mentioned up to 15 devices, can you actually modify some of the devices manually?
1) I want to be able to control Kodi using my eHome IR Receiver. Sadly Kodi doesn't play nice with most remotes, so I actually have to use EventGhost to map whatever signal remote sends to a specific function. This worked well for me for years, and it does not require learning functionality, but if this remote has "HTPC" built-in that would be really sweet.

2) Can it be upgraded easily? I heard earlier models required a lengthy process which relied on Logitech website to get new remotes/devices. I just picked up a Yamaha receiver, it would be cool to control that.

3) Any chance of getting an RF compatible one anytime soon? I wish we didn't have to point at things when we have to control them.

Same here, showing $299, was it ever $99, and did we miss it, or is it not active yet? It's a good price at $99.
