Samsung Galaxy S5 G900A for T-Mobile

Sam Hobbs 1,284 128 December 27, 2015 at 04:05 PM
I want a phone for T-Mobile. I see more of the Samsung Galaxy S5 G900A model available than the Samsung Galaxy S5 G900T. As best as I can determine, the G900T model is made for T-Mobile. Some of the eBay listings for the G900A indicate it will work with T-Mobile but I am asking if there is an advantage for the G900T model for T-Mobile, and assuming there are advantages, what are they?

I am sorry, but that does not help.

Since you are so quick to be sarcastic, I won't try to explain.

Essentially i would think they are both the same. One made for TMobile and one for ATT. Each will have that companies bloatware installed.

I currently have an ATT S5 that i am using on the TMobile network and there has been no significant difference in the operation. All i had to do was get me ATT phone unlocked for TMobile. No problems here what so ever.

Not sure if that help Smilie

Thank you. An eBay seller confirmed that the G900T is for T-Mobile. That is unofficial but in the absence of other information I will assume I should get a G900T unless I can get a better deal for a different model. I think the Verizon model is available for less but I know that won't work for T-Mobile.

Someone posted a link to this here but now the post here is gone.

I assume they removed the post because all of the S5s at Costco are gone already. None of the Costcos near us have any, except one that will likely be gone before we get there. I assume it won't be productive to check any more of the 7 stores that I already checked.

That was me before, I removed it because I didn't have any input regarding the "bands."

Here's a deal for $220 on ebay for the SM-G900T

Thank you, but I don't want "Like new", I want new. There are many deals like that in eBay, I have a search set up to notify me of phones under $280.
