Don't forget to follow these steps to replace older HD or to turn off hibernation and caching, paging etc.

I would like to get the PRO version, but the rebate is making me think twice. Anyone had success with rebates from Adorama?

Never have issue with them.

I will buy another one when it hits $60 again.

As a comparison, on CCC, the lowest Amazon price for "Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E250B/AM)" was $74.99 on Nov 12, 2015. Of course, this assumes no rebates there.

I have a 240GB Sandisk Extreme II, which compares in performance to the Evo, but of course I bought it 18 months ago and it was near top of line back then. I think I paid $110 then on a slickdeal. Smilie $67 for this Evo is slick. But I want a 1TB drive next (or a pair).

250 is plenty for me. Windows and my most used apps and games, everything else on a spinning disk.
