Rewards are issued 2-4 weeks after product is delivered, more details can be found here. This is a nice price for an OLED with the rewards and bonus HDTV.

12/29- BuyDig CSR confirms the rebate is in the form of a credit back to your choice of payment. AKA, they will charge the full amount to your card, then 2 weeks after you receive the TV, they will credit your card for $450.

Just an FYI...the 15% is equivalent to $450 instant credit back to your credit card plus you're getting the bonus HDTV to sweeten the pot. The 15% rewards credit is instant and similar to the prior deal that was run Cheers

Not bad - I like the flat version over the dumb curved one. Plus you can get 2% more via top-cash-back Smilie

Wow, what did I miss? Why all the thumbs down on this?

I haven't seen this particular model go on sale any cheaper than this, and the last FP deal that included the 55" flat version was at the same price, but only included a bluetooth speaker.

This is actually a decent deal for a great OLED with the 15% and the included 42" TV. Not sure why the thumbs down.
Good reviews on Amazon and CNET. CNET has it marked 10/10 for everything except the cost.

Can you clarify this? Are you saying it's an instant rebate to your credit card? As in, you pay $3000 for the set now, and then $450 comes off your credit card bill before the billing statement?

Cause the way I read the buydig site, it suggests the 15% is in the form of points to use on a future buydig purchase. Two very different things.

@elguapo16 I see that but when I looked in their FAQ via chat here's what is says:

what are Buydig rewards?
When a Buydig rewards is offered on a product, it is usually a cash back offer from Buydig. We will issue a refund for the rewards amount back to the same payment method that was used to place the order within the advertised period.

In either event it makes sense to verify the cash back vs. credit on a future purchase

I would call and make sure before pulling the trigger...

15% back in buydig rewards towards any future purchase! Rewards will be issued via email 2-4 weeks after product is delivered.

It's clearly not cash back in this instance. Still a decent deal, the thumbs down are strange.

I just called to confirm with BuyDig and the CSR stated it is a credit back to your payment choice. He said it is because they are an authorized retailer, they cannot advertise the lower price. This is their way around that. He said it will appear as a credit to your card 2 weeks after you receive the TV.

So essentially, it comes out to be $2550 for the two TVs and two HDMI cords.

With that cleared up, I can't see how this shouldn't be a FP deal unless I'm missing something else. It's cheaper than the last FP deal AND it includes a second TV this time instead of a speaker.

Thumbs up from me! Now to decide whether or not to surprise the wife with this.......and then run and duck for cover Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I'm waiting until the new stuff gets announced at CES. Hoping Samsung comes out with a competing product!

Samsung got out of the OLED tv business last year. And it's not something you can get in and out of at a whim. It takes a lot of investment. So, LG is the only game in town and they are going all in. They even recently announced that they will be making OLED monitors and panels for laptops.
