Do not be dissuaded by the uneducated samsung troll in this thread! Many reviews exist on this drive, please form your own opinion on whether it is a good purchase!

Please do not buy a Sandisk SSD. I own a small PC repair shop and we have had the highest fail rate on Sandisk and next is Mushkin. The best choice for a SSD and bang for the buck is Samsung. Intel is still the king of the consumer market but you will pay more.

Funny, I use Sandisk Ultra II drives in RAID. Not a single problem. Perhaps it's overprovising issues? I've seen that more than a few times.

Although honestly, the intel 750 series pci-e drives are amazing. They are not only faster than SSD on the market, but they also have dual redundant power backup in case of power failure. They're not that pricey for the performance they offer.
