There are a few Sonos products on Jet.com that accept the scarymommy2015 coupon which you can pair with the free return shipping waiver for some killer prices. These products never go on sale and these prices are excellent.

Sonos Connect:Amp for $438.02 (usually $499) https://jet.com/product/SONOS-CON...b27f38820b

Sonos Sub for $633.62 (usually $699) https://jet.com/product/SONOS-SUB...7a9d39b023

Sonos Play:3 black for $242.42 (usually $299) https://jet.com/product/SONOS-PLA...c6f06e2b0d

The Connect:Amp amplifies speakers and provides Sonos smarts to them. The Sub requires another Sonos speaker or Connect:Amp to pair to wirelessly to work. The Play:3 is a great speaker that you can place horizontally or vertically.

Maybe I'm being frugal, but I have to imagine there are better wireless/bluetooth speakers out there for half the price of Sonos.

These aren't Bluetooth speakers. Sonos creates a wireless mesh network and can connect multiple rooms of audio together.

pretty good deal, sonos speakers above sonos 1 rarely go on sale. IMHO sonos is worth the premium for ease of use.

Like most people, I wasn't a believer in SONOS especially for the price. Then I bought a connect, and became a convert.

Perhaps. Sonos to me is a case of you get what you pay for. From start to finish everything feels luxurious. Setup is ridiculously simple, there are nice apps available for just about all platforms. Sound is excellent, though I am not an audiophile and can't compare it to other products...I know what I like, I guess. It supports a bunch of streaming and radio services including (though Beta) Apple Music. For the most part, they don't tend to kill older product lines when they announce something new - the setup I bought ~6 years ago is still constantly updated and going strong. There aren't any features I'm aware of that they didn't inherit in the years since I purchased. People should look at this kind of system as an investment. What is a few hundred dollars over the course of 10 years, say?

Sonos app is its core competency, and major limit though. Wanna stream YouTube or Xbox audio? sorry you'll need to get a Sonos bar first.

How do you get $438 for the amp? I'm only getting $449.

Edit: Oh I see now. You waive your free return shipping rights for additional discount.

I have three Chromecast Audios synchronized around my house. Cost $35 or less each. Surprisingly refined for the first release (per room delay adjustment, volume adjustment, custom room groups). RIP Sonos.
