I just came back from the post office today to find out a crazy load of packages all landed at the post office by these stupid retailers like best buy, amazon, newegg, and more. A lot of those packages I chose expedited shipping and they still land at the post office. The problem is the post office rarely delivers to the address, and leaves a slip in the mail box to collect the delivery. After dealing with too many slips I have figured out that I can redeliver and did so. However after awhile I receive slips without tracking #s and or poorly handwritten trcking #s so I can't redeliver because I need to input those #s. So I pretty much have to go to the post office. Packages I pickup are usually small in size, however this time to my surprise I find two huge packages at the post office that considering there size the retailer should of have used UPS all the way for delivery.

I never even received a slip for half of those packages which were like 10 in all and requested redelivery for what I had to leave behind. I am just sick and tired of these merchants using usps as final delivery which I believe saves them money when expedited delivery has been chosen though. Is there anyway to stop these merchants from using usps for final delivery for expedited packages and huge packages because this is farking madness! As the use of this delivery method is increasing too much.

Your address is too unprofitable to use Fedex/UPS directly.

"expedited shipping" = "we will work faster in the warehouse"

You can eliminate USPS delivery for all retailers except Amazon by paying for 2-day delivery or faster. i.e. if you aren't paying $20-$30 each delivery, you're getting smartpost/UPSMI.

Ya, I hate it when they hand it off to USPS. Shocking amount of packages get permanently lost at the regional center. That and they always seem to forget to leave the damn form telling me I have a package for pick up!

USPS has automated email tracking like UPS has now. It will send email updates about any packages coming to your address.

Ya, when it works LMAO Doesn't exactly help with the packages that are permanently lost at the regional fulfillment center!

Blame the merchant for not using 100% USPS, 100% Fedex, or 100% UPS. Problems only exist with USPS because merchants cheap out with UPSMI/Fedex Smartpost and idiot customers accept it.
