If only I hadn't just bought a Tamron 150-600 for myself, the wife would really love this 16-300 on her camera!

I own the 28-300 for my full frame camera and although not my sharpest nor favorite lens it does put out some very nice pictures across the whole zoom range and is wonderful for those times when I just don't have time or the hands to switch lenses and need a do it all walk around lens!

Still deciding whether to get it. I need one lense for my 70D to complement my 50mm prime lense. So far the reviews are pretty good regarding this lense. Buy or not to buy...

Buy. I have had this since the release date and loving it. It's my only lens when I'm travelling. Very versatile.

good versatility. Keep in mind it's an EF-S mount in Canon, so no full-frame.

Is this full-frame? And would you all recommend it if strictly for video? I need a versatile zoom lens. Currently have a 50 and a 24.

Seems like a crazy good deal. I have the 28-70 F/2.8 that has become my vacation lens, because I don't like lugging the 70-300 along and switching lenses. If you insist on getting an all-in-1 lens, this is a good place to start at this price.

awesome deal. I was torn on picking it up from amazon with the 10% cashback but this is a better deal

New to this, need a full-range lens. What is full-frame? Does it matter(to what)?

One of the reviews said zoom is in the opposite direction than normal. To those of you who have this, is that distracting?
