I was in Walmart a few hours ago and they have the HiSense 55" 1080p 120Hz Smart TV for $398 on clearance.
The online price still shows $498 down from $548.

This is a Clearance price so your local store prices may vary. YMMV . . online will likely not show the $398 price. Call your local stores to see what the price may be.

Walmart Stk #553477380 EDIT: Or 43521764 They seem to have changed the number.

I checked the Brickseek inventory checker and this model does not seem to currently show up.

This is a pretty decent 55" TV for the money and has a great picture once settings are dialed in. I had one that I purchased last Saturday for $498. I returned it today because I am holding out for a 4K for around $500. I set this HiSense 55H6B 55" TV up using a Spears & Munsil calibration disc and the Picture Quality is quite good. Really as good as similar sized Samsung and LG models. In fact, according to what I read in a few places on the net. .. this HiSense brand makes components and even entire TVs for LG. Also, the remote for nearby LG models operate this TV and the remote for the Hisense operates nearby LG TVs.

This TV has an excellent HD image and is ok on SD channels, although does not seem the best for standard TV or cable box channels. It displays both DVD and Blu-ray images very well.
I have Picture Settings as a starting point if anyone is interested.

Picked this up today. Price in store was posted as 498, did a price check and came up as 398. Got damaged box for another 10% off.

Got this to replace an old set and hold me over until OLED becomes more affordable. Happy with the picture quality.

I've had a similar model (has 4 HDMI instead of 3 and isn't 120hz), and I've been really happy with it. I got it last Feb I believe. Haven't had any issues with it as of yet. Use my PS4 on it regularly and looks good to me. My brother has a new 65" LG 4k TV and I can notice a big difference compared to his. But compared to my old 42" Samsung and 40" LG it looks pretty similar.

Hmm, I have a $50 Walmart gift card to sweeten this deal and a friends employee discount. it'd be $310 before tax if I can find one for $398, wow!
