Think I'll gift this to my friend who has all the games. Don't think she knows about this, but I think she'll love it!

You would buy this only for nostalgia reasons, this cartoon is pretty terrible all around.

If you haven't seen or heard of the Zelda series cartoon - it lasted 1 season (think about that) during the late 80's when Zelda exploded in popularity on the original NES. Episodes were about 15 minutes long so that's why the whole disc is only 3 hours worth of video.

How does she have all the games and not know about the cartoon? gift her this maybe a good way of stopping her from collecting Zelda stuff.

She's 19 and has never mentioned it, so I'm just assuming but maybe just heard of it at least. I'm just hoping she gets a kick out of it. I'll be amazed if this ends the game collecting though!

The main reason I think we long for it was because it only was shown once a week on Friday as I recall. 4 days of Mario 1 day of Zelda. A lot of the time as a kid you'd miss it as well then wait another week. So that absence makes the heart grow fonder is at play here.
