Thread Details

I have an upcoming flight in mid January and I never done airport parking before... Been looking it up on Google for a day or so now and it seems to range from $8 to $11 per day for parking outside the airport. Looking to park my car for 1 week.

Are there any deals on parking? What websites do one use for finding airport parking? Any recommendations?

Have you checked into this? http://www.ezparkfly.com/

Looks like it could be like 7 bucks a day, but I've never used it.

^Yeah, I looked at that site before, but am looking for recommendations and experiences with airport parking. Main concern is security and shuttle times.

Bump, anyone? Need to find a place to park in less than 2 weeks. Not sure which website to look at, unsure how safe the websites are...

I think you need someone who specifically knows and has used off-site parking sites in San Jose.

We can point you to various websites, but based on your earlier feedback, that's not what you're looking for - sounds like your concern is safety (?), which only someone who has parked their can speak to.

I might recommend asking your question on Flyertalk - you will probably find a much wider audience who can give you the real-life feedback you're looking for. Good luck!

(BTW, I can't imagine finding only paying $8-$11/day for airport parking. That's 50-66% cheaper than major metropolitan areas on the East Coast!)

Thanks

I'm just worry about info being stolen on some websites, don't seem too secure for some sites I am looking at and based on Yelp reviews, some of the parking sites aren't too good, so was looking to see if anyone in the Bay Area have any experienced parking near SJC.

I'll give flyertalk a look.

Really? I thought $8 to $11 is expensive already... But then I don't really know how much parking is for airport long term parking in general..

I would just preach common-sense in emptying out your car before you park.
If it's the car itself that you're worried about, look into getting a cab/Uber to the airport (assuming you are in nearby area and not driving there) - chanes are it may be same price as parking and you will avoid this stress

JFK, Logan and Dulles are all easily $15-$20 a day. For the off-site discount lots where you need to take shuttle in. On-site airport parking is much more expensive - $25-$35 a day!

Yeah, I plan on driving one of my car that has literally nothing in it if I am parking long-term at offsite parking. Right now, I just don't know which website is legit for booking/reservation for parking...

Pretty expensive for parking on the East Coast, though I'm not sure how much parking is at SFO or LAX since those are the major airports in the west.

$8-11/day is a steal for long term secure airport parking! The major airports in California, SFO, LAX, SAN all charge prices similar to what megakimcheelove quoted!

Have anyone use these sites before to make a reservation for airport parking?

https://www.airportparkingconnect...fault.aspx
http://www.quikparksjc.com/
http://www.airportparkingreservat...n_jose_sjc

I'm leaning towards DoubleTree Hotel Airport Parking for $11/day.

Airport Parking Connection seems cheaper, $90 for 8 days ($11 x 8 + $2 tax & surcharge)
Airport Parking Reservation is $95 after $5 coupon for 8 days, same $11/day rate but they added some service fee and city parking tax/fee

edit: I just found this site... Never heard of it, but parking at the same place, it's only charging $9.50/day..
https://www.parkingpanda.com/

edit2: it seems like $9.50/day was their old rate and maybe Parking Panda haven't updated the rates on the site yet, so I'm not sure if it would be valid or not...

You call the closest hotels in the areas and ask them if you can buy parking and if they have free shuttle to the airport. I found long term parking in la and Las Vegas this way. $5 in both cities

Use Global Airport Parking! We've used them numerous times! Prices are $4 per day in most cities.

I'm not sure if they are at SJC, but I use parking panda and spot hero often for airport parking off site, event parking at baseball games etc and can say both are excellent. they are basically the same service and some locations subscribe to one, the other, or both depending on their deal.

edit, not sure if allowed, but I can give you my referral codes which will get you a discount.

for panda parking, $5 of with code JEREMYEDE

for spot hero, $5 off with this link: https://spothero.com/invite/3l4foh

I already made a reservation for parking at DoubleTree Hotel, seems the most positive reviews... But thanks for the options out there, will keep in mind for next time.
