Is it though? I've seen it cheaper elsewhere, and the blue one is not the most desirable....

I haven't really done much searching, but it's 20% off. Which I guess you could also get at Bed Bath Beyond with coupon.
I don't mind the blue, but if I don't like it in person I'll just return it.

Was it on sale for cheaper around the holidays?

I think it was slightly cheaper. My Nike Fuelband has made it about 3 years so it's getting close to upgrade time....

Yes, it was. Including BB. If I recall, one was $109.99 w/$10 GC. Also, I think it was on eBay yesterday for $109.99.

my wife just got the vivofit smart and loves it, and it was only $99, plus its waterproof.

i've heard the charge HR is great though, too.

Just returned mine from the Best Buy Flash sale ($109 plus $10 BB Gift Card) a few weeks ago. So this deal is not that great.

FWIW, I really wanted to like it, and wore it for 2 weeks. But It hurts! Very surprising how much it starts to hurt your wrist. I was hoping the pain would go away, but it only got worse over time. Other than that, it was great.

If you get one, make sure you use it right away so you don't miss the return window if you want to return it.

You must have worn the thing super tight... I have had mine for over 2 weeks and no pain what so ever. They do recommend you not to wear it snug and that it should be free moving on your wrist.

Don’t Wear it Too Tight

Make sure your band isn’t too tight. Wear the band loosely enough that it can move back and forth on your wrist.

I didn't wear it too tight. It can't be loose/ free moving like you described above with the Charge HR, b/c then it won't track your Heart rate correctly. It has to be flat against your wrist. Even Fitbit says it should be slightly snug and not loose/free moving like you describe. (http://help.fitbit.com/articles/e...tsAccuracy)

Plus it wasn't the "tight" that hurt. It was more like the weight, it's hard to describe. It was like an arthritis pain. I'm not the only one with this issue.. Google it. Here's an example of the issue: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/C...m-p/920034
