Strongly disagree, this is all I use now for years. Never disappointed.
These are good if you don't have thick hair or sensitive skin. If you use/need something like a Mach 3 turbo, even the best Dorco will disappoint.

I don't have a very thick beard or hair but I do shave every day to get rid of those pesky patches.

How often is it recommend to replace the blades?

I am admittedly very stingy with the replacements on my Gillette Mach whatever number it is.

My face had to adjust to the new razors. I almost quit using them after the first shave, but the next shave wasn't too bad. After 3 months using Dorco razors, I'm fine them.

You should get a lot of life out of the carts, at least I do. The trick, like with any blade, is to dry it. If you don't rust forms and doesn't cut clean.

As disgusting as it sounds, I simply blow on it a few times and wipe it dry.

The rule of phalange is: 3 blades, if your a scrungy bastard, and more if you want your chin to shine.

Yeah I totally get that. I do the worst thing possible... I shave while in the shower so there's tons of moisture. But the razor is SO much better when you first use it than after a few shaves... I wonder what is the optimal time to replace them

Once a week?
How do you pull THAT off?
I kill for that.

Is this the best deal they offer when it comes to cost per cartridge?

He's a vegetarian.
Personally, I'd say shaving directly corresponds to how much you make.
If it's a crappy job, don't bother much.

Another trick to extending the life of a disposable razor it to run it backwards on your forearm about a dozen times. I don't recall where I read about that but it works for me.

The cheap disposables that I pick up from a Slickdeal will last for months of shaving during the workweek with it. On Sunday I will treat myself to a nice DE razor shave with a homemade coconut oil and Shea butter combination.
