Thread Details

The new BK promotion includes a bacon cheeseburger, small french fries, small drink, 4 piece chicken nuggets and a warm chocolate chip cookie.

Maybe better than the Wendy's $4 meal that is popular on this forum.

The fast food chain says it will begin selling a five-item meal for $4 on Tuesday, a deal that marks its answer to the recently-launched McDonald's McPick 2 and Wendy's 4 for $4 deals.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Not bad, if I still ate bread and garbage carbs I'd be all over this.

I just love competition. Keeps the prices low for those of us who can't (or not stupid enough to) pay $10-15 for lunch. Subway needs to get back to the $5-$6 subs B4 they get left behind!

Looks the same as Wendy's but with the cookie. Don't care for sweets, and BK's nuggets aren't nearly as good...

But the McPick is awesome.

Subway has gone way downhill recently. Their prices are absurd and the competition is kicking their arses.

First post and health shaming. You can't top that.

Just don't drink the soft drinks and you'll be fine. My father just entered his nineties and has eaten a fast food burger and fries about 5-6x a week since as far back as I can remember. He's fine besides emphysema, which is from smoking.

But hey, if you have crappy genetics and feel that you need to avoid fast food to live a fulfilling life, more power to you I guess.

Do they still have the 10 piece chicken nuggets for $1.49 ?

I agree. I eat out half the time (being on the road 5-10 day at a time). A TV dinner from Walmart or soup the rest of the time. I used to eat at Subway at least once a week. Now it is around once a month. I used to collect those stamps where you fill up a card and get a free footlong. They have been going down hill every since they got rid of that program. Skimpy on fixings, higher prices...like you said, 'competition is kicking their arses'!

I'd say overweight but only slightly. Definitely not slim.

I'm just so sick of the health nuts that pervade this forum and elsewhere. It's like people have been brainwashed into thinking that your body is this fragile piece of equipment that needs to be fed nutrients in very specific proportions and is incapable of expelling toxins.

Every few years there's a new twist on the 'organic', 'natural', 'raw' fad BS and people always fall for it. What's the evidence that a BK hamburger is so bad, but a $20 burger from a classy restaurant is so much better? It's nothing but snobbery.

I rarely (if ever) see ANYONE in their 90s that is fat. My wife works in a nursing home and the only fat people there work there. That is like seeing a black person at a KKK rally. Just doesn't happen. Of course you won't see me at their pathetic racist events either.
