Please help me find a deal on a suit!!! Hard size to find :(

Guys, I haven't had to wear a suit in five years, but I need one 3 weeks from now. It has to be a dark suit, any color is ok except brown. I have a light tan, and a seersucker suit already, but this is for a job interview the first week of February. This is very important, so if you can - please help!

I prefer dark grey, light grey, navy or blue, olive, and black in that order. So black is the least favorite but still a fine option.

I prefer a cheaper suit, as this is more a once or twice need. I wear a shirt and tie daily, and have a good amount of sportcoats, so I'd need to keep the budget under $125 each. I am in the market for 2 suits.

Here's where the problem is... I need a 46p or 46 portly. It's hard to find this size, but going up to a 48 regular looks so big all over. I need the portly because I have a large stomach due to having back surgery, and over the years my stomach has grown due to being physically handicapped.

I went to jos a banks and men's wearhouse, and the 46p sportcoats fit amazing well, but the stores didn't have any suits in stock that were on sale. Jos A. Banks wanted $495 and the suit isn't worth that much.

Does anyone know a site to recommend for a guy with a big gut, and a bigger heart?

Recap:
Needs dark suit.
Size 46 portly cut. If buying suit separates, a 40 waist (regular) and I will have the pants hemmed to 29" inseam.
Has to be inexpensive. Could buy 2 or 3 if price is right.

To anyone that might help, I might be able to reward you with Coke Reward points if it leads to anything I purchase!!!!!

Thanks so much in advance for taking time to help me. Please post any links that you may find and I will certainly review the link right away. I need to order within the next 7 or 8 days so I can get the pants hemmed.

You didn't mention what city or state you're in, knowing that might be helpful. If there's a K&G Fashion Superstore near you, go there, they usually have a much larger selection of hard to find sizes and their prices are better than anywhere else.

It's where DH got his suit for our wedding, and his dad was so impressed with the suit and the price he went there and bought a couple of suits for himself.

Zoe, your right!

I am in Harrisburg PA - 17070 - and this morning I had a breakthrough!!! Boscovs has three suits that are exactly what I think I'm looking for. I found a 15% off coupon online, and the separates I've found are regular waist pants (that are finished bottoms) and portly suit jackets!!! I'm ecstatic, they are costing around $110 each, and a great navy sportcoat for around $40! Free shipping and return to store, I think I am going to buy them online at lunch.

I'm going to take a trip this weekend and stop by K&G, it's about 55 miles away but that's ok with me! Smilie

Thanks for your help, have a great day!!
