Free amazon kindle books Set # 2 of well reviewed books) free today Jan 7 [amazon.com]

Public service announcement. If you like the kind of books I list ( free books rated generally 4 stars or more and minimum of 100 reviews- with very few exceptions) and fear you may have missed some of my recent posts simply go here.

Many of the deals I have posted recently can still be obtained for free and can help you build quite a library of good reads on the cheap.

Please don't forget to come back and thumb me up so I know there is interest in me posting.

books are free at time of posting please always double check before buying as they tend to not stay free for long. if a book is no longer free I ask that instead of thumbing down that you please reply to alert others and move on.

I Try to keep it that way yes. It's a new link every day. Old links still work in case books remained free for extended periods. I get paid with thumbs for my efforts

Yes I don't control when you choose to read them. I do recommend that you get them downloaded and stored using my friend Kovid's Calibre as who knows what Amazon policies will be in the future.

yeah that's what i mean . i would like to download the books onto a tablet that is dedicated for book reading . but i have no need for this now but i got some family members in mind who might like to have these books for reading and the tablet would be for them .

so get the tablet and download the books and then drm strip them using KC and then i could gift the tablet to them and they would have all the books , so it seems ? and without needing access to my amazon account since the DRM strip KC ?

thanks bro .

Calibre allows you to convert formats from mobi to ePub and PDFs so they will remain useful regardless of reader or tablet you happen to own now or in the future. If they are kept with Amazon then you are stuck with kindle tech and should their relationship with publishers change in the future I don't think it's a guarantee that free books will stay in their database for your retrieval say 10 years from now. They may instead choose to give you a refund of your $0 dollars and call it even

some of these have already changed price to $3. Just check before buying, as always. Great post op

I thought I can always get the book when I buy it, even when it's free. Maybe I should finished the ones I already got and then get some new ones.

You Could expect to have access to the ebooks you purchased even if you purchased them for free but I would not trust having digital content existing ONLY in the Amazon cloud. As many of you already know, you never really own the kindle content you purchase. Per Amazon Conditions of Use which state in part: Amazon and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at their sole discretion. Please know that any attempt to open a new account will meet with the same action.

So if you really want to ensure you retain access to your digital products download them and store them locally

Yep, but I have noticed some Kindle books in my library are no longer available for sale, but are still available to me in my library.
