Was going to purchase a set of Pirelli Diablo Supersports from Cycle gear with the $200 per pair special they are running right now and went to Bike Bandit to cross shop.
Only to find they are having a sale on front/rear sets. Limited sizes but they are the ones that many bikes are running these days.

120/70-17 & 180/55-17 for $149.95 shipped
120/70-17 & 190/55-17 for $159.95 shipped

These are just the standard Supersport tires and aren't the high end Corsa tires but I've had these before on my 919 and they are a good everyday riding tire. Probably not what many would consider a track day tire but they hold the road well wet or dry.
And nothing feels better than fresh rubber.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Guys seriously look into your local shops first. Most shops charge significantly more to mount/balance with your own tires unless you bring them the wheels only. I bought a set on sale on eBay and ended up cancelling the sale because it was not only cheaper tires in the first place locally but the mount balance was $35 versus like $75.

Just a fair warning.
Slickdeals almost convinced me to buy tires without even having a bike.. lol

This is nothing special, these are standard Diablos not the ROSSO's...

Awesome deal. Just bought tires a month ago. Sorely tempted to put these in the garage, but they'd probly be junk by the time I needed them, lol.

I did that the last time I saw tire deals on here. I say you go for it.

Thumbs up for motorcycle deals!

I used those tires for years on my CBR, wouldn't hesitate at all to use them again on a street bike. On the track bike I'll probably get something a little stickier, but I'll probably pick up a set of these to throw on the street bike. Thumbs up! Cool

This is an excellent deal! Like mikegldn said, these would be more than capable of sporty street riding and would honestly be suitable for taking you through your first track day. After that, sure, get the cutting edge rubber.

It is not worth it to store new tires if you don't need them in the short term. Tires last pretty long when they're in-use but not when they're just sitting, they deteriorate and you don't get the longevity out of them.
