Why the downvotes? Is this website shadey?

I use these almost every time I eat out. I have about 40 certificates saved up (can be exchanged free and instantly as needed) Never once had a problem with them. Saves me about 45% on my bill usually. There is also 10% cash back on a certain e site.

It is legitimate. It's the fact that years ago they had gift certificates for 25.00 off 25.00 and people like me were able to dine at two restaurants in my town for FREE. Those were the days......

I feel prices at restaurants that use things like this and groupon are artificially raising their prices now to compensate.

It was very easy for my husband and me to eat for free. It was taking our kids along that ruined the free part of the meal for us and since the coupon would only allow one coupon per table, we made the kids go in first and get their own table. My husband and I would go in 5 minutes later and get our own table. Once we took my mother along and made her sit with the kids. She thought it was so funny and kept giggling about it through out her meal. But hey, free is free !

restaurant.com is a good way to save $$ when eating out but watch out for all the restrictions.... they have gotten worse and worse - certain DOTW, minimum # of people, minimum spend, etc etc.

I still have like $50 "credit" from unused certs awhile back.
