Just got email on my cards. I had soft serve where I could load $1500 each month.

Email from serve below:

So what exactly is the point to post this here? If you are targeted, you get the email. If you are not, why'd care?

Or is this one of those stupid check your emails "deal"? People do check their emails, you know... without any stupid warnings.

A PSA, aka public service announcement. It's not meant to be a deal but to warn people. Quite a number of of SDer's have used these in the past and still do.

ugh hope mine doesn't get cancelled... it really comes in handy in places where your bank doesn't have branches.... there are times I am paid cash for my services, and I don't feel like going to the bank..

Yep, got the notice about my bluebird account about an hour ago. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. What stinks is that they lowered the max funding amounts for the Nationwide Visa Buxx account yesterday as well. Need to find a new MS technique......Wink

what I don't understand is how they are axing all the account heavy or light user. I personally loaded only $1500 from CC and occasionally visa GC at walmarts which were always less than $500 in a month. I legitimately paid bills and never withdrawn to bank account and never paid CC back I used to load the funds into serve...

For who like to MS like myself, bluebird is great way to meet the credit card requirement spend, but look like today bluebird shut down a lot of people account included myself. RIP thanks for a fun drive Frown

That's pretty awful. On my end, I would deposit $400 in Staples prepaid Visas and MasterCards, on average of once every month, then "pay a bill" - i.e., me. Went pretty smoothly until now (yeah, they shut me down, too).
