v2 theme not showing attachments

barebottoms 1,312 January 8, 2016 at 11:25 AM
In post 192 I included a screen shot (I use v1 view by default).

http://slickdeals.net/f/8388593-dewalt-2-5-gal-200-psi-quiet-trim-air-compressor-139?p=81190007

The person viewing my response was on v2 and didn't see the attachment. I had to link to the post 192 which defaults back to v1 for them to see it.

Hi,
A couple of post might have been removed as now your post is #190.
I assume you mean they cannot see it in the redesign theme??

I am in redesign and can see your attachment. it is possible that in their profile options that don't have the one labeled
" Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)" checked.

Currently Post #190 (but seems to change between 192 or 190 depending on which URL i use for the thread)

Message body reads "Here you go"
It just just an attachment of an image. I wasn't trying to show it inline.

Using this link (which is V2 (I believe), not the classic design).

http://slickdeals.net/f/8388593-dewalt-2-5-gal-200-psi-quiet-trim-air-compressor-139?p=81190007

If you look at my post, current #190, it does not show the attachment.

Just with my own login settings, I'm not seeing any attachments to comments if I view the thread
as:
http://slickdeals.net/f/8388593-dewalt-2-5-gal-200-psi-quiet-trim-air-compressor-139?v=2
but do as:
http://slickdeals.net/f/8388593-dewalt-2-5-gal-200-psi-quiet-trim-air-compressor-139?v=1

Anyway, just look for any thread with a comment that has an attachment. If v=2, then you won't see it. if v=1 then you will. Any links to the post itself seems to default to v1, that was how I got the requester to see my attachment.
