Walmart.com has the Refurbished ARRIS SURFboard SBG6782AC DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem/ Wi-Fi AC1750 Router for $88.04.

It has 1000+ 4.5 reviews on Google. This appears $40 lesser than a recent Popular deal ($130) on SD. Link to previous deal below:

I have a ARRIS 6141 for modem and Netgear N600 for router.
I am not in favour of 2-in-1s. If there is a fault in either one you may need to replace the whole system.
Keep it separate - my 2 cents.

I'm a docsis engineer, I do like Arris modems a lot but I can't recommend refurbs. I have one of these in my lab and I've never had any issues with it though I didn't personally certify it. MM yeah I just don't recommend refurbs on retail modems or routers ever.

No phone service. Only an MTA device will work, which I have never seen on SD. Pitiful.

Be cautious with refurbished modems. I bought a refurb Arris Surfboard SB6141 during one of the many sales Woot had on them, and it died after 5 days. If you DO go for a refurb, get it hooked up and running ASAP so you have a better chance of smoking out problems before your return window closes.

Hmm...I have the older 6580 that still seems to work okay. Recently, it feels like the Wifi isn't great sometimes, but overall we don't have any issues with it. I wonder if and if so, how much of an upgrade this would be.

I know people say to get a separate modem and router, but we have ours on our entertainment center and having another device blinking away, needing an a/c outlet isn't ideal. Also, the price seems pretty good on this one.
