Not sure we would come up with any better than the thousands of articles out there..

I think the top 5 hits here cover most I can think of: https://www.google.com/search?q=o...2&ie=UTF-8

Personally, I'd sell/donate any that aren't running 4.4.4 (vulnerable ssl).

I agree I doubt we'd come up with better lists than what you can find. For me the top uses would be as remote controls (home automation, network enabled ir blasters, chromecast/roku) and weather & security camera displays.

Can't think of a ton here, Maybe dedicated exercise tracking/entertainment. Most phones don't have a big enough screen you want to say use as a kitchen machine for recipes or media.

Similar to a baby monitor webcam [lifehacker.com] The cameras are better than you need and if you use movement detection software you have the option to be notified when something happens.

There is make-money program, called Perk TV. Use your old the phone to play Perk TV video, 5 phones (max) at a time, and make money (Gift Card) each month. 5 phones at home and another 5 phones at office, in turn 24/7 non-stop.

After ordering a deal immediately delete your deal alert. You got your item; you don't want it shipped with a side of remorse.

Many phones do support MHL, but I'm not so sure how many real cheap phones (think prepaid tracphones) have mhl support. I looked at the specs for a couple and didn't see any reference to mhl, but it never hurts to buy the cable and test them.

Most cell phones since the Qualcomm & Blackberry have between $30 and $60 in silver and gold [depending on current precious metals values] inside the circuitry.
