Is slickdeals absorbing the $100 MIR or FocusCamera? Just curious.

When clicking on the slickdeals rebate link, it's showing amount = $200. Are we getting $100 or $200?

Fix the rebate from in attachment as well. Slickdeals is paying for this MIR?

Do you want telephoto, wide angle or fish eye?
These all in one lines always suffer and never do any of their functions well.

The reviews for the 16 - 300 are terrible. Focus Camera has also had some very poor community reviews.

this should be frontpage, lowest from an authorized seller. not the sharpest lens but great for a walkaround lens and the canon ef-s 15-85 is super expensive.

The used Canon 15-85mm is right around this price, without the rebate hassle.

I have a used Canon EF-S 15-85 in excellent condition for sale. I just upgraded to a Nikon D750 and sold all of my canon gear except the lens. I had rented this tamron and the canon just beats it to death. None of the all purpose zooms are great anyway but this is unique as none of them are as wide as 16. Most start at 18 and on the wider that 2mm is a lot.

I will never buy a slow lens, especially an all in one lens (jack of all). For that money I rather buy 2 primes, for example Nikon 35mm 1.8 and 50mm 1.8. The results are much better than a point n shoot 16-300mm lens. Need reach then use your legs to zoom. You discover nice angles for your shots rather stand still at one spot and have boring angle all the time.
