Free Amazon kindle book set #2 of well reviewed books for Jan 14 ( 4+ stars and > 100 reviews) [amazon.com]

Public service announcement: If you like the kind of books I list ( free books rated generally 4 stars or more and minimum of 100 reviews- with very few exceptions) and fear you may have missed some of my recent posts simply go here:

http://slickdeals.net/newsearch.php?searchuserid=153555&starteronly=1

Many of the deals I have posted recently can still be obtained for free and can help you build quite a library of good reads on the cheap.

Please don't forget to come back and thumb this post up so I know there is interest in me posting. click "follow" for early notification when I post these deals as many do expire within minutes or hours of posting.

As always books are free at time of posting. PLEASE always double check before buying as they tend to not stay free for long. If a book is no longer free I ask that instead of thumbing down that you please reply to alert others and move on.

Why does 100+ 4 star reviews matter? Simple. Amazon lists many thousands of books that regularly go on rotation as free. The vast majority of these are trashy romance novels and worthless "how to" or "self help" books and "box sets". These guides are for the most part copy-paste online content and Wikipedia articles with catchy titles like "DiY Box Set of basket weaving" or "Improve your looks in 10 easy steps" or "Best crockpot recipes Ever!" etc (you catch the drift) .

These guides and box sets are hastily put together and sold by "entrepreneurs" using mostly fictitious authors with disclaimers inside that they are for entertainment purposes only. They just need free zero dollar "sales" so they can increase their Amazon sales rank and get priority on the Amazon search filters. Once their sales rank crosses above a certain level, they return the price to "regular" and lure unsuspecting buyers believing the 25 page double spaced large print brochure being sold as an "Ultimate box set" of books" is actually worth a dollar or more. Many of these guides are heavily promoted here on SD frequently (and likely by the same people that published them).

Anyways, by focusing on 4 stars or more with 100 + reviews you avoid filling your library with as much of this crap and also avoid becoming an unsuspecting party to the free ebook scam.

Please support real authors and not scam artists.

You did it again: enticed me to try some out. Repped again for the latest additions to my Kindle---which I really have been trying to be selective about!

Awesome. Hey you can always delete those "ultimate guide to (insert popular hobby name here) box set" purchases and use Wikipedia instead to make room for real books Smilie
