Just noticed this was live when browsing through Xbox store, seems like a pretty decent game.

it's one of the "Games with Gold" for this month, the website says it goes live on 1/16 but indeed it seems already live a day early, I just picked it up for no cost. nice find!

Free gamerscore. Well for at least as long as you want to play it.

I don't. (Want to play it). But free is free. And if it's free and takes up no physical space well then yes please.

But you can "buy" it and not download it.

ikr. When I picked up the Xbone I also grabbed a decent amount of games. If I had known I'd be so backlogged with a these free games I probably wouldn't have half the physical games I currently do.

I heard this is possible but not sure how to do it.....
If your console is set to instant-on doesn't it download it automatically?
Also, I misunderstood the other post. I thought they were saying you can play the game without taking physical space (downloading)

Yes it automatically downloads (if anyone knows how to disable this, please post as I'd like to know) but you can always delete it off your console after it downloads or cancel it as it's downloading. I always do that. You still have it and you can red/l it whenever you want to.

If you 'buy' the free game on the console, just stop the installation. Otherwise I don't let my console "sleep" I make it set to be off with no auto-updates in the settings. ... Also I physically unplug mine after using it, but that's just me conserving power.

I think unplugging it is a unnecessary step but do your thing
