Note that the X850D was announced at CES with further HDR capability, Logitech Home Hub compatibility, etc.

i'm looking for a deal on the 75" x850c version. Currently priced at $3,499. This deal makes me wonder if it's worth paying twice the price for the 10" difference.

I have this TV - got it from buydig for $1700 which was free shipping and no tax. It is really great. There are a lot of samsung fanboys but this TV holds up well next to the 8500. The smart TV features have gotten a lot better with the upgrades as well. I don't use the 3d so I can't really comment on it.

The 4k upscaling looks good as well. I have no regrets with this direct lit TV.

Seems you can buy the TV for under $1600 at various online stores. Is this really a deal?

The "various online stores" are all shams.

I am on the fence between this and the 75". I know during thanksgiving the 75" went down to 3k.

I currently have a 70" sharp uh series which left me disappointed. Thinking of returning it and look at his sony or visio 70" m series.
