Quotes from people who bought this game

"This is primarily an ONLINE MULTIPLAYER game -- don't expect an extensive or engaging single player campaign."

"This is an online only game requiring always-on Internet connection. Only single player content is tutorials. Ubisoft never fixed issues with the matchmaking. Often you will have to wait quite some time (hours sometimes) to get a game started"

Just watched the IGN review video, think i'll pass on this title.
Almost got this until I read the reviews... I'd personally wait until lower...

Reviews scared me at first too but IMO, much better and more fun than the reviews suggest.

The only problem I've noticed were possible online issues and bit outdated graphics.
And of course... general idiots that follow when playing online games.
FYI, not much of a single player game! It just has few "missions/challenges" for single player.

If anyone wants to play on Xbox on weekends, PM me! Smilie

Been playing on PC. It's a fun game. They've made lots of improvements since the game launched like fixing bugs and going from 30Hz to 60Hz tickrate.

It has microtransactions but they're mostly cosmetic (gun skins or XP boosters) and the season pass only gets you the new operators a week early when they come out (everyone gets the new operators and maps).

Note that if you buy it from Amazon, you get a Uplay code. I think the only place to get a Steam copy is through Steam, and it still requires Uplay.

I enjoyed the game, but it's lacks a great deal of polish and it can be frustrating (& time consuming) finding ranked games -- especially when you wait 10mins to get a game going only to have the server disconnect after the first round... repeatedly.

I really feel bad for anyone who bought (or buys) this thinking that their would be a single player campaign, like the previous R6 titles or something to comparable to COD/BF titles. The single player component is really nothing more than a handful of training missions to get you good and ready using the various characters for online play.

Still though, it's a fun game for those with the patience for it. As someone put it, this is the closest game to Counter Strike for current gen console games.

Played the beta on ps4.

Fun at first but got old real quick. Same match over and over and over again.
Even terrorist hunt sucks. Used to play all the time in the first ones on xbox 360 but now theres no cover system.

Anybody see deals on the PS4 digital copy? I want to get that instead because I play it quite a bit and don't want to keep changing discs. I agree with another poster - this is the closest next gen game to Counter-strike.

excellent game - whats more important to me is that the Devs are LISTENING AND MODIFYING the game as folks have been posting issues and bugs. Ubisoft really want this game to shine and it does in spades. Quick matches, Tactical thinking, and an excellent gaming community make this work awesome. I have it for Xbox1 and just ordered it for PC.

How come they never have the digital copy for sale? Also, the 20% off with Prime doesn't work on digital copies Frown
